Additional Secretary CM’s Grievances Cell reviews progress on issues of Leh, Kargil | KNO

JAMMU, NOVEMBER 17 (KNO) : Additional Secretary, Chief Minister’s Grievances Cell, convened a meeting to review the progress on grievances and demands registered by the people of Leh and Kargil during the visit of Coordinator, Chief Minister’s Grievances Cell, Tassaduq Hussain Mufti, to the districts last month. Officers of various departments including GAD, Tourism, Health, Wildlife, BSNL, PHE, CEPD, Rural Development, Education, Planning, Law and Youth Service and Sports, Home etc were present in the meeting. The meeting had a detailed review of the issues of people of Leh and Kargil including and the progress was found satisfactory. It was informed that demands like posting of Lecturers in Drass, posting of Asstt. Tourism Officer, Establishment of Fast Tract Court, Improvement in the connectivity of BSNL, Construction of wash rooms for Ladies at Khurdungla Pass, Improvement of electricity have been addressed. The meeting expressed concern over slow progress on certain issues related to Health and PHE and exhorted upon the concerned officers to accelerate the pace of progress on the same (KNO)
